On Tuesday at Twenty-Eighth Street Elementary, Mrs. Bond’s Quest class had a guest speaker from Lynn Meadows Discovery Center come visit them and explain the history of Lynn Meadows.
Mrs. Cindy DeFrances shared old photos, posters, and timelines to better help our students understand how Lynn Meadows Discovery Center came to be! She even shared upcoming projects that the discovery center is currently working on and events that are coming up that our students can enjoy with their friends and families.
Mrs. Bond’s gifted students can’t wait to use all of this information gathered on their upcoming research project! Thank you Mrs. DeFrances and the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center for this very captivating history presentation.

Students are expected to follow the bus expectations for the 2026-2027 school year. Students who engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior may lose bus privileges, in accordance with the student handbook.

Students must have their school-issued I.D. badge to ride the bus. Students who consistently fail to have their badge will not be allowed to ride the bus until a replacement is purchased (cost is $5) or alternative transportation is arranged.
Your support is greatly appreciated in helping us keep all students safe during transportation.
