Principal

Mrs. Robin Auringer is the Principal of 28th Street Elementary.  As a native of Gulfport, she attended schools within the Gulfport School District and graduated from Gulfport High School.  She recieved a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree from the University of Mississippi in educational leadership.  Mrs. Auringer is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy.  Over the past ten years, Mrs. Auringer has been dedicated to educating children of the Gulfport School District.  She previously taught at Anniston Elementary and served as an administrative intern at Gulfport High School, Central Elementary, and 28th Street Elementary. 

Mrs. Auringer loves working with the faculty, students, and parents of TSE.  She believes all students can learn and reach their maximum potential.  With academic and social-emotional support, Mrs. Auringer strives to provide our children with the tools for academic success.
